ways to look at what you do for a living. For
all of these, you need to give me your job title
and where you work now (examples: I am a retail
clerk for T.J. Maxx; I am an electrician for
the Garden Grove apartment complex; I am plant
manager for Durasol Awnings) Then, decide what
you really want to know:
- I
want to stay where I am and move up (for
this, provide me
with the
first name of your immediate boss, then their
boss, and on up the ladder until you get to “God” (the
CEO, the owner).
- I
want to move on, but still work for someone
else (for this,
provide
3-5 things you’d be willing to do for
a job. They can be easy or a real “stretch” but
this will allow me to see where your strengths
lie).

have) my own business! (For this, tell me precisely
what kind of business you have or want to open).
