I am a self taught artist and healer who
left working in the corporate world after
twenty years. I always had a longing to find
my spiritual and creative side, which I now
know go hand in hand. Ten years ago I started
searching for more in my life than just working
to survive. I woke up spiritually and found
the magic within and without.
As I healed old wounds and realized I had
the power to create my reality, I started
experimenting with different art mediums
on my own. I wanted to see what I was capable
of creating. I started painting with acrylic
paints, and created a few five foot paintings
which, to my surprise, came out better than
I expected. I continued to experiment: sculpting
small faces, sewing pillows, making ottomans
and creating unique vases and jewelry. So
much wanted to pour out of my soul; it was
endless!
 For the first time I was truly happy and
bubbling over with the joy of creativity.
But that was only the beginning of the long
journey. I left the corporate world, an eight
year relationship, and much emotional turmoil.
I lived off my 401K to have a chance for
the first time in my life to go within, to
see who I was, to search my soul and find
my truth. I took up healing classes and realized
that was also my calling. I kept on creating,
still wondering if I should focus on one
single thing. I realize now that it was all
destiny. Everthing I created has evolved
into a product line, most of which is magic-related.
Now I create fairey dolls, dragons, smudgesticks,
crystal healing wands, fairy houses and more.
I realize now the truth in the saying "If
God is for me, who can be against me?" I
have released all ego involvement, which
was actually holding me back for all those
years from being brave and doing what I loved
for a living. Spirit was guiding me and working
through me in all that I created and all
the healing sessions. I stepped out of the
way, and let destiny take over. When I realized
and truly believed I was guided, no one and
nothing could bring back my insecurity. And
now I see the healing and magic the fairies
bring to peoples lives. There are truly healing
fairy spirits in the dolls I make. All my
love and Spirit's healing energy channels
through me when I am creating and transmits
through the fairy dolls to others.
When the fairies are purchased I tell the
person to ask the fairy for their name and
then to look up the name definition which
will be a personal message for the person
and is also a reflection of them and who
they are in life. I truly would love to see
everyone express themselves in any way they
feel called. Never let anyone tell you that
you cannot do something, or you're foolish
to try. It is not about being perfect. It
is about the expression, the emotion and
the energy that comes forth from the piece
that is created.
 When we hear a song, see a painting, read
poetry, watch dance, the energy we feel brings
us to tears, to joy, to sorrow. To be in
touch with our human emotions, to release,
and feel safe about feeling is a gift. And
don't worry about being perfect! I used to
spend forever creating one fairy, believing
that it had to be perfect or others would
judge me. When I let that belief go, I realized
that no one else was judging me, only me.
Now that is not even in my reality. Because
I am creating what Spirit wants and it is
for a positive reason, that beauty and positivity
is what others feel and see.
I try to encourage people I meet at shows
to find their creativity, to find their voice,
listen to that whisper. We usually are waiting
for that inner voice to shout. It doesn't.
It is a whisper in our own voice, a nudge,
a wanting, imagination, whispering "go
for it." I am telling you: try! There
is nothing to lose. How sad to come into
this life and not share our gifts from God
with others. He gave us them for a reason,
so we must honor God, ourselves and all by
finding, expressing, utilizing our talents.
Forget procrastinating: do it now without
fear, doubt or insecurity. When we express
ourselves and not worry about what others
will think, we truly create from the heart.
When we create from the heart, we heal ourselves
and others. We take what is within us and
bring it out. We can heal our wounds that
way, putting healing down on paper, with
a pen, a paintbrush, with our fingers, and
our souls. We share ourselves with others
that way, and allow them to heal and express
themselves also. We're giving ourselves and
others permission to release and heal by
creating thru love and joy. Being Human is
creating; that is what we must do, not shut
it down. We must teach our children, adults,
elders to express in a healthy, joyful and
fulfilling way.
Don't criticize anyone's self expression.
Again, it is not about perfection, but emotion.
There is beauty in everything. When we allow
our lights to shine we allow others to shine
their own. We see the light in them and they
see themselves through our eyes. In turn
they will do the same for others. We are
all light, love and God in Action. Source

thought, action and emotion.
Ask yourself: What are you creating in your
life? Is it joy, love, beauty, peace harmony?
If not, start now. There is nothing that
can bring such joy, and fulfillment as creating! |
