Light Workers. En-LIGHT-enment. What's
all this with light?
The universe is made of
light. Light is energy and energy is vibration.
We use this energy every moment of our
lives. It's natural law - and the law of
energy is unbreakable.
One aspect of this energy
is Spiritual light, which manifests itself
as seven rays, each having a different
quality of God's consciousness.
We learned about the rainbow
back in kindergarten. As we grew older,
we understood that different frequencies
of vibrations produce different colors.
As the different colors each have their
own qualities, they are useful for different
things.
Red works
with power and leadership; orange encourages
sciences and the intellect of mankind; yellow assists
interaction and manifestation, the business
world; blue is love and
wisdom; green works with
healing and the arts; indigo supports
spirituality and the highest calling of
man; purple, often called violet,
is the ray of devotion and of highest knowing.
St. Germain is
the Ascended Master who oversees the Violet
Flame. An Ascended Master is
a being who is known to have completed
the last incarnation on Earth and has Ascended,
but continues to want to interact with
and assist the Earth plane by means of
the power of the rays. St. Germain is a
joyful, bright and benevolent being. His
chosen ray - Violet - has the energy of
devotion and highest knowing, mercy, forgiveness,
freedom and transmutation. But it's much,
much more than that.
HOLD ON, some of you are
thinking -- this lecture is called the
Violet FLAME! What gives? They are one
and the same - one comes from the other.
Think of it this way: the Violet Ray is
the force or energy waiting to be used;
the Flame is the energy in active transformational
mode.
How do we use
the Violet Flame? Two words: Spiritual
detergent. The wonderful thing
about it is that it's an impartial, nonjudgmental,
totally benign spiritual detergent that
anyone can tap into at any stage of development.
It's free to all. No one who has negative
intent is able to use it; it simply won't
respond. Its purpose is to transmute
negative energy into positive energy and
this can be done on a personal
level (illness, emotional problem, "stuckness"),
a global level when
you expand your focus (for example, the
Middle East) and include them in your
prayers and wishes for negativity to
be transmuted; and then right into the universal to
adjust anything that's out of whack anywhere
you sense it.
Trust me - the world knows,
our consciousness knows, that it's
time for the violet ray. The Red
Hat ladies all wear purple. The 60s and
70s revival in the past few years has brought
purple to the fore. Even M&M went with
a purple coated candy for the new millennium!
Violet is more accessible to us than ever.
There is more and more Light pouring
into the world and people are
waking up to it. But the darkness
rises up to meet it - that's the
nature of the universe. For the positive,
there is the negative. Right now we see
an upsurgance of the darker forces. It's
an especially good reason for people to
use the violet ray of transformation, sending
prayers to transmute the global negatives
to positives.
When can you use
it? In any situation
negative or blocked, use it
as a spiritual shortcut. For example:
you're in a traffic jam and you need
to be in an important meeting and the
traffic jam will make you late. Invoke
the Violet Flame, which will enter as
a force to loosen up and speed up the
molecules around you -- the things that
are made of the molecules -- and you
will find the traffic around you loosens
up and makes way for you. I have actually
seen it work in Los Angeles!
Another thing to use it
for is in the process of physical
healing, especially if you have
something that might be considered undiagnosable
or incurable. You can use it for
chronic pain. My spiritual mentor
has had arthritis most of her life - she
has used Violet Flame meditation during
severely painful episodes to lift her up
and out of it, letting her ride the pain
instead of drowning in it.
It's a marvelous tool
of protection. You can imagine
and envision this as your protection
against adverse forces of any kind. It
doesn't transmute the other forces. It
concentrates on you and keeping you safe. If
there is a lesson to be learned from
your encounter with negativity - Violet
Flame is intelligent though it has no
personality - it will not remove
it from you until you've learned the
lesson. It doesn't operate on
your time, but the Universe's time. So
you may ask the Violet Flame to transmute
a dark situation for you and bring it
into the Light but it may not happen
instantly. You have to be really ready
for the Change - and the Violet Flame
will know when you are.
Why isn't the
Violet Flame of transformation better
known? People scoff. "It's
a spiritual shortcut, and there ain't
no such thing as a free lunch. What is
this, the Chakra version of the one minute
manager?" An awful lot of people
find it hard to believe in a totally
benign force that has no personality
but can quickly and easily loosen up
the garbage around us. We are raised
to believe that things have to be done
the hard way in order to stick or be
meaningful. That it can't be any good
if just anyone can tap into it.
That's your ego talking,
friends. We come into the world and we
are just who we are, tabula rasa. Our ego
is formed as a protection. Let's say your
life was about pain and loss: rough childhood,
people kept leaving you, lots of a sense
of abandonment. Your ego would create itself
to help you cope with that pain and loss.
When you improve your life, when you start
to work on these spiritual principles,
when you see mountains turn into speed
bumps, that's when the ego starts to loosen
and you come into your true soul self.
We've all had those moments when everything
falls into place, everything clicks - your
focus is heightened. That's when you're
in your true self. When that happens, very
often Ego will say, "Oh, if they have
this and they're good then they don't need
me any more!" So all of a sudden in
our lives we find situations that involve
pain and loss coming to the fore, and our
ego pushes us to deal with it in the old
way rather than see it from a spiritual
perspective.
The Violet Flame is something
that can break through the Ego and get
down into the soul where our major changes
are made. Especially when it comes to clearing
old Karma. It's incredibly powerful here,
and this is scary for some people to hear.
Sometimes we "are" our stories,
our history, whether in this life or past
ones. What happens when we lose the stories?
Our true self knows: we are more ourselves
than ever. When you are ready, using the
Violet Flame can clear past Karmic patterns,
past injustices that you may have committed
or that others may have committed against
you. It's about forgiveness, aura cleansing
- a lot of people have trouble imagining
themselves completely cleared out and ready
to move to the next level of awareness.
So they stick to their old habit patterns,
their old negativities and things that
trip them up because of the old saying
rather the devil you know than the devil
you don't. There are those who see something
as benevolent and benign yet powerful as
the Violet Flame as the Devil.
To sum up: the
Violet Flame is a tangible and concrete
example of the fact that you don't need
to earn God's love. It's right there.
You don't have to do major studying,
you don't have to get an A on your spiritual
report card, you just have to open up
and God says "I'm here."
So - now we understand
what the Violet Flame is, why it's useful,
and why it would be a Good Thing to bring
into our lives. How do we do it?

VISUALIZE: Visualization
comes easily to people. Most everyone is
able to picture something in their minds.
Take a moment now to close your eyes; try
to see the color violet with your inner
eye. Got it? Good. Let's try something
right now that will show you how you can
work with the Violet Flame through visualization:
Get comfortable. Get your
wiggles out and settle down. Close your
eyes and take a deep cleansing breath in
- good - and let it gently go. Again: in...clean
out those lungs, pull in that oxygen -
and let it out. One more time... in...
and out. Good.
Visualize a flame
swirling up around you -- benign,
beautiful flames in violet, pink and
indigo rising around you and breaking
up all the dark, stagnant stuck things
that are collected around you that may
be blocking you in your progress in any
way. Bathe in the warmth of the
Violet flame.
Feel behind you
a great winged presence. Powerful,
loving, compassionate yet fierce. This
is Archangel Michael, the
Great Protector. He looks up, and suddenly
there is a tube coming down. The
tube is white light edged with brilliant
blue. It comes down over your Violet
Flame and completely surrounds and encases
you. Try to see it swirling, growing,
flowing. Sense a tingling a vibrational
energy beginning to surround you and
uplift you. This is your pillar
of defense against all negative
energies, repelling anything dark, angry,
or Ego-based.
Now, visualize
in front of you the problem you wish
to solve. Give it a face, a
shape. Perhaps your challenge is ill
health. Lack of prosperity. A family
squabble. Loneliness. Fear. See what
it looks like. And when you have the
image, reach out with a tongue
of that Violet Flame and bring it into
the tube with you. See your
challenge surrounded by the Flame, and watch
it change. It may disappear.
It may become something positive. Allow
the Violet Flame to transmute these
energies into what will serve you in
the best and most loving way.
Acknowledge the change
in your mind, in your heart. Completely
believe that this change will manifest -
is already manifesting in your physical
world. And then, imagine the pillar
lifting slowly, silently, allowing
your Violet Flame to surrounding you again
in a great sphere. As the pillar lifts, Michael's
wings spread and open, signifying the work
is done. Michael reaches out to you, leaving
a blessing. Listen closely to
what he tells you; cherish the love in
the message. With your mind, turn
down the Violet Flame, the way
you would turn down the flames on a gas
stove; see them gently dissipate... and
when you are ready, open your eyes.
Create a personalized
image of the Violet Flame for yourself.
Something you can turn to in your darkest
moment. Meditation is hard when you are
terribly emotionally stressed, so having
an image outside is very valuable. Visualize
a flame swirling up around you as you're
meditating and concentrating on the problem
you wish to solve and imagine these benign,
beautiful flames in violet, pink and indigo
rising around you and breaking up all the
dark, stagnant stuck things that are collected
around you that may be blocking you in
your progress in any way. Call in that
pillar of protection any time you want.
You can even call it and 'walk around'
in it, if you are feeling particularly
stressed or in a negative place. The most
important thing to remember is that the
Violet Flame is with you always.
VOCALIZE: Words
are vibration. Everything is vibration.
Elizabeth Clare Prophet is the best known
teacher of the Violet Flame. According
to Prophet, "Invoked in the name of
God, the Violet ray bursts into a spiritual
flame in your heart as the qualities of
mercy, forgiveness, justice and freedom
and transmutation." And to help invoke
these qualities, she and the I AM teachings
have come up with decrees. Decrees
aren't like mantras. They're based on a
more assertive principle. You are stating
that 'this is so' and your belief follows
it.
There are certain ways to start your decree
sessions.
- Begin your violet flame session with
a prayer, Prophet recommends that you
ask the Ascended Masters, angels and
elementals to come and help you.
- Invoke your protection: bring in Archangel
Michael and bring that pillar of light
down to surround you.
- Start with a preamble - basically an
invitation and request for help. Decrees
are started by saying "In the name
of the beloved mighty victorious Presence
of God, I AM in me, and my own beloved
Holy Christ Self, I call to Saint German
and the angels of the seventh ray."
Here is where the actual
decree comes in. Some people have it rhyme
and it's very simple: I am
a being of violet fire; I am the purity
God desires! This is a simple
one that says you want to purify your aura
of everything that is not of God. Visualize
any negative energy that touches these
flames being instantly transmuted into
the Light of God.
There are longer decrees.
Here's an example of how to design your
own: let's say you have had an argument
with a family member, a friend, a co-worker
or your boss. Note that here we are separating
the ego (that which we create in response
to our earthly challenges) from the soul
(that pure being of light and love which
we all are at core).
